Aimer and LiSA have performed the double theme songs for the currently screening film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc: Part 1 – The Return of Akaza, and a single CD featuring both of their songs was released today, the 23rd.

Aimer’s “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” features lyrics by Hikaru Kondo, general producer of the Demon Slayer anime series, and was composed and arranged by Go Shiina, who also scores the series. The track is a powerful fusion of grand orchestral elements and Aimer’s evocative vocals.

LiSA’s “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” was written and composed by Yuki Kajiura, another composer for the series. Their renewed collaboration, which has brought many iconic songs to the franchise, delivers yet another epic anthem.

Aimer commented:
“I sang this song with all of my own ‘Total Concentration,’ intending to support and express the fate of those who transform their sorrow into strength and leap into the final battle.”

LiSA said:
“To everyone who’s fighting—this song is filled with prayers and wishes.”

The CD is available in both standard and limited editions. The limited edition includes a mini-poster featuring newly drawn anime illustrations: Shinobu Kocho for “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” and Giyu Tomioka for “Shine in the Cruel Night”, housed in a special three-sided case. A Blu-ray disc featuring the music videos is also included.

Additionally, both music videos are scheduled for a YouTube premiere on July 24 between 7:45 PM and 8:00 PM (JST). A special retrospective “Theme Song Music Video Marathon”, revisiting past Demon Slayer songs, will also be streamed on YouTube starting at 7:00 PM the same day.

■ Aimer’s Comment
Mr. Go Shiina and Mr. Hikaru Kondo—two individuals who have continuously poured endless love into Demon Slayer—entrusted me with this song.

I sang it with my own kind of “Total Concentration,” hoping to support the destiny of those who are turning their pain into strength and diving headfirst into the final phase.

To you who are still fighting in your own “A World Where the Sun Never Rises”—I hope this song reaches you.

■ Go Shiina’s Comment
This song came together thanks to the support of Aimer, as well as the lyricist, arrangers, performers, engineers, and all the staff.

Being present during Aimer’s emotional recording session while watching the footage fired me up tremendously—I couldn’t wait to release this song.

We recorded up to 12 vocal layers, covering an incredible range from the lowest to the highest notes. Please enjoy the kaleidoscopic expressiveness of Aimer’s voice.

The song also contains various themes from Demon Slayer, so I hope fans will enjoy discovering them.

■ LiSA’s Comment
I once again teamed up with Yuki Kajiura, who has gifted me with so many songs through Demon Slayer, for the theme of Infinity Castle Arc: Part 1 – The Return of Akaza.

To everyone who continues to fight—I sang this song with prayers and hopes in my heart.

“Shine in the Cruel Night.”

■ Yuki Kajiura’s Comment
I’m truly honored to have created the theme song for Infinity Castle Arc: Part 1 – The Return of Akaza with LiSA.

Since the song is deeply tied into the story, I carefully crafted it to blend seamlessly into the narrative while also being a piece that LiSA could sing with full power.

I hope it resonates with everyone as both music that enhances the story and as a song brought to life by LiSA’s voice.
