Animelo Summer Live 2025 Reveals Third Round of Performers Including Kiyoshi Hikawa + KIINA.

The third wave of performers for the world’s largest anime song festival, Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!” (Anisama), has been announced. The event will take place at Saitama Super Arena over three days from August 29 to 31.

August 29: Kiyoshi Hikawa + KIINA. Return After Six Years

On the opening day, Kiyoshi Hikawa + KIINA. will perform for the third time, marking their return after six years since their last appearance in 2019. Debuting with “Hakone Hachiri no Hanjirō,” Hikawa has won over fans of all ages with his powerful vocals, striking visuals, and warm presence. His career saw a major turning point with the anime hit “Limit-Break x Survivor,” the theme song for Dragon Ball Super.

In April, Hikawa released the ending theme “Party of Monsters” for the anime GeGeGe no Kitaro: Legends I Loved, followed by a nationwide concert tour in May. Regarding his return to Anisama, Hikawa commented:

“I performed at Anisama in 2017 and 2019. The stage and the song ‘Limit-Break x Survivor’ truly marked a turning point in my life. To be part of the 20th anniversary is an honor—I’m filled with gratitude and eager to give back!”

August 30: Lia Returns After Nine Years

Day two will feature Lia, returning for the fourth time after a nine-year absence since 2016. A Berklee College of Music-trained vocalist, Lia rose to fame while living in the U.S. when she was selected as the voice for the theme and insert songs for the anime and game AIR. Since then, she has lent her voice to numerous beloved titles, earning enduring popularity worldwide.

August 31: SideM Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary with Anisama Performance

Closing out the festival on August 31 is The Idolmaster SideM, returning for the fourth time since 2019. The unit celebrated its 10th anniversary in July last year and will hold a massive 10th anniversary live with 16 units at K-Arena Yokohama this July.

This Anisama lineup includes:

Returning solo performers Shugo Nakamura and Takuma Terashima

First-time Anisama appearances from Takeaki Masuyama, Toshinari Fukamachi, Yuriku Ise, Masaya Miyazaki, and Takeo Ōtsuka
