Aimer’s single “Zankyosanka” has officially surpassed 500 million cumulative streams on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking, according to the latest chart released on August 27. This marks the first time one of Aimer’s songs has crossed the 500 million milestone.

According to Oricon’s chart dated September 1, 2025 (tracking period: August 18–24), “Zankyosanka” recorded 1,671,140 streams in the past week. This brings the total to 500,363,757 cumulative streams, making it the first Aimer song to reach the 500 million mark.
Connection to Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc
“Zankyosanka” serves as the opening theme for the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc. The song’s strong tie to the popular anime contributed to its long-term success and streaming longevity since its digital release on December 6, 2021.
