The TV anime The Richest Man in GAME will air this October on Fuji TV × bilibili’s anime programming block B8station. Alongside the announcement, the main cast—Kensho Ono, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Jun Fukuyama—was revealed, with the teaser PV, teaser visual, and cast comments now available.

Originally released on bilibili in February last year, the anime has surpassed 100 million total views, and this new version will feature a full Japanese dub. The story follows an ordinary salaryman, Pei Qian, who during a late-night overtime shift suddenly time-leaps back to his university days when his smartphone flashes. There, a mysterious character named “Richest” appears, offering him capital and a chance to become wealthy. Although thrilled at the prospect of escaping his “corporate drone” life, Qian learns that becoming rich requires fulfilling a very unusual condition.

That condition: if Chen uses Richest’s funding to start a business, the more money the business loses, the more his personal assets will increase. To maximize losses, Chen enters the risky gaming industry, aiming to produce outrageous games that will surely fail. Yet, contrary to his expectations, his game business begins to take an unexpected turn. A world where “going bankrupt means becoming rich”—a chaotic, fast-paced slapstick comedy anime unfolds.

The Japanese dub features a stellar lineup of voice actors. Kensho Ono (Kuroko’s Basketball as Tetsuya Kuroko, SPY×FAMILY as Yuri Briar) plays protagonist Pei Chen, who takes on Richest’s business challenge after his time leap, aiming to go bankrupt and live the luxurious life of his dreams.

Nobuhiko Okamoto (My Hero Academia as Katsuki Bakugo, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End as Himmel) voices Qian’s university friend Ma Yang, one of the founding members of the company during the challenge. Jun Fukuyama (Code Geass as Lelouch Lamperouge, Assassination Classroom as Korosensei) plays Richest, the key system character who proposes the challenge to Qian.

The teaser PV depicts Qian meeting Richest after his time leap and declaring, “With this chance, I’ll say goodbye to my corporate drone life!” Joined by Ma Yang, who exclaims with shining eyes, “I’ll follow you!”, the grand business challenge begins. The teaser visual features Qian in a suit, seated with a confident smile and holding a game controller in a room overflowing with material goods. Can Qian truly achieve bankruptcy as a CEO and obtain the wealthy life he dreams of?
