Hikaru Utada & Kenshi Yonezu to Perform “JANE DOE” as Ending Theme for Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc Film

The ending theme for the upcoming film Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, set to premiere on September 19, has been announced as “JANE DOE,” a collaboration between Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada.

Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc premieres September 19 with “JANE DOE” by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada as its ending theme.


Chainsaw Man follows Denji, a boy living with the Chainsaw Devil Pochita and working as a devil hunter to repay the massive debt left by his parents. After making a contract with Pochita, Denji is revived as Chainsaw Man, a being with the heart of a devil, and embarks on a dark hero action saga to hunt down devils.

Based on the manga of the same name that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, the series has surpassed 30 million copies in circulation. Known for its sudden revelations and shocking plot twists, it ranked first in the male category of Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2021 and has become a widely acclaimed work.

The manga’s first part, the “Public Safety Arc,” concluded in the December 14, 2020 issue of the magazine, and its second part began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in July 2022. The TV anime aired from October to December 2022, and the series has also been adapted for the stage.
