The single will be available in three formats: a limited “IRIS OUT” edition (CD + merchandise), a limited [TBD] edition (CD + DVD), and a regular edition (CD only). Pre-orders are already open through online retailers and physical stores. Notably, the official in-store release date is set for Monday, September 22, with sales beginning on the same day.
Yonezu previously provided the opening theme “KICK BACK” for the 2022 Chainsaw Man TV anime. The song became a phenomenal hit, surpassing 200 million views on its music video, 140 million views on the anime’s opening sequence, and 500 million cumulative streams. It also received Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), marking the first-ever RIAA Gold record for a song with Japanese lyrics—a historic achievement.
