New Visuals and Cast Comments for Ranma 1/2 Season 2 Reveal Mousse and Ukyo Kuonji

The upcoming Season 2 of the TV anime Ranma 1/2, set to premiere on Nippon TV this October, has revealed character visuals and profiles for Mousse and Ukyo Kuonji. Alongside the announcement, voice actors Toshihiko Seki and Kaori Nazuka have shared their thoughts on joining the cast.

Mousse is described as “Shampoo’s childhood friend and a master of hidden weapons. Though deeply in love with Shampoo, he traveled to Japan to pursue her, only to be constantly rejected.”

Ukyo Kuonji is introduced as “Ranma’s childhood friend and one of his fiancées. A skilled martial artist who trained in the art of okonomiyaki since childhood, she now runs her own restaurant, ‘Ucchan,’ using her culinary talents.”

Bonus content for the Season 1 Complete Limited Edition Blu-ray & DVD was also revealed. It will include an exclusive illustration by character designer Hiromi Taniguchi, a mini shikishi drawn by original creator Rumiko Takahashi, audio commentaries for episodes 1, 5, and 9 featuring Kappei Yamaguchi, Noriko Hidaka, Megumi Hayashibara, Koichi Yamadera, and Mamoru Miyano, a deluxe booklet, clean OP/ED videos, and next episode previews.
