Hiro Mashima Draws Delinquent Manga: One-Shot “1993” Published in Young Magazine

Manga creator Hiro Mashima’s one-shot manga 1993 was published in the latest issue of Young Magazine, released today, July 7.

The story follows a protagonist who feels powerless yet yearns to defeat his incredibly capable friend—a hot-blooded tale of pride, fists, and reckless determination. 1993 marks the first installment in a new one-shot series celebrating the 45th anniversary of Young Magazine.

At present, it is unclear whether the manga will be published in languages other than Japanese.
