‘WITCH WATCH’ Features Unprecedented Full Anime Adaptation of In-Series Manga ‘Uron Mirage’ with 10-Minute Broadcast Segment and Star-Studded Cast

The TV anime WITCH WATCH aired its 14th episode, titled Uron Mirage: Episode 119 “The Fuzzy Hunt, Part 4”, on July 6 via MBS and TBS networks. This episode stood out for its rare production choice—dedicating the first 10 minutes of the 30-minute broadcast to a fully animated version of the in-series manga Uron Mirage.

Comments from Who-ya Extended

“We’re thrilled to perform the opening theme for Uron Mirage (WITCH WATCH). We’ve always loved the heartwarming chaos of WITCH WATCH, and when we were offered this opportunity, we were genuinely excited. Since this is the ‘Uro-Mira’ episode, we created ‘Bitter end’ to blend coolness with playfulness. We hope viewers will enjoy the anime—and the song—thoroughly!”

Comments from ALI

“We’re honored to contribute the ending theme for the unexpectedly huge hit Uron Mirage featured in Weekly Shonen Jaguar! We’ve been hooked since the first chapter and looked forward to every weekly installment. This may have been the most difficult track we’ve ever produced.

We explored the theme of stepping into a fictional world and returning from it, creating music as a fictional rookie band. We hope you enjoy this musical and rock’n’roll journey. But have I really returned to reality? The gaps in my mind might still be open… The world seems more chaotic and numb to sorrow. Still, as I write this, I hope this song can bring a smile to someone on a street corner or give them the energy to dash through this absurd world. I can’t wait for this to appear in Weekly Shonen Jaguar!”

Note:
Whenever the cast or staff talk about Uron Mirage, their comments are always kind of vague and elusive. I'm not sure if I managed to translate that properly… but I think I at least captured the general feel of it.
