Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Premieres on Netflix This December: Epic Showdown Between Qin Shi Huang and Hades Unveiled in New Trailer

Record of Ragnarok Season 3 will premiere exclusively on Netflix this December. Alongside the announcement, a dramatic new trailer has been released, teasing the much-anticipated seventh match in the divine-human showdown. With both gods and humans having secured three victories each, the fate of humanity hinges on this decisive clash.

The anime tells the story of "Ragnarok," a series of thirteen one-on-one battles between representatives of the gods and humanity, fought to determine whether mankind deserves to survive. Can humans surpass the gods and avert the apocalypse? The series delves into these intense, high-stakes duels that challenge both divine and mortal limits.

Based on the hit manga currently serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon, the series has exceeded 18 million copies in circulation. It has received multiple accolades, including recognition in Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2019 (Men’s Edition), Nationwide Bookstore Employees’ Recommended Comics 2019, and the 2nd Manga Shimbun Awards.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into the fateful seventh bout: a true “Clash of Kings” between Qin Shi Huang, the “First Emperor,” and Hades, the “King of the Underworld.” The preview showcases their signature moves and an intense back-and-forth battle filled with raw power and conviction. Stirring quotes such as “I will not yield to a mere king of men,” “There can be only one true king,” “I cannot afford to lose,” and “A true king never gives up!” build anticipation for the upcoming episode. This electrifying confrontation embodies the unwavering resolve of both combatants. As the narrator declares, “Witness it well—the moment when the history of gods and humanity changes forever.”
