The anime film adaptation of manga artist Inio Asano's work, "Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction" (commonly known as "DeDeDeDe"), has been released in two parts. The first part premiered on March 22, and the second part will be released nationwide next week on the 24th.

The story is set in a world where a giant spaceship, known as the "mothership," suddenly appears over Tokyo, initially causing despair but gradually becoming part of daily life. It follows the lives of girls enjoying their youth. In the second part, it has been revealed that the film will conclude with an original ending supervised by Asano.

A special 90-second video has been released, summarizing the film with the songs "Zezetai Seiki" by Rira Ikuta for the first part and "Seishun Ouka" by ano for the second part playing in the background.

The protagonists are two high-spirited high school girls in Tokyo: Koyama Kadode (voiced by Rira Ikuta), who has a crush on her teacher, and her hyper-pop war game enthusiast friend, Ouran Nakagawa (voiced by ano). Their town has been overshadowed by the mothership that appeared three years ago. One night, a tragedy strikes their close classmate, Kiho Kurihara (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), changing the course of their futures.

Although the mothership floats above Tokyo, the invaders onboard start appearing in town and are secretly exterminated by the Self-Defense Forces. Amidst this, Ouran meets Keita Oba (voiced by Miyu Irino), an invader in the form of a boy, which triggers her lost memories of Kadode. What is the secret hidden in Ouran and Kadode's past?

The special footage shows the mothership exploding and invaders falling. News reports announce, "Part of the mothership has collapsed," marking the start of a war between humans and invaders. The urgent situation unfolds with lines like, "The mothership will explode," "The world will face its end," and "We must stop it now." The second part will unravel the mysteries of the mothership and the truth about Kadode and Ouran. What does Ouran's question to Kadode, "What if the world ends because of me?" mean? Viewers will want to see how the original theatrical ending of the second part concludes.
