The first animated movie adaptation of manga artist Inio Asano's "Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction" (commonly known as Dededede) follows its prior chapter released on March 22 with the sequel starting from May 24, unveiling character posters of 12 individuals set to play significant roles.

This work is set in a world where a massive spaceship, known colloquially as the "mother ship," suddenly appears over Tokyo, and the initially desperate situation gradually blends into everyday life, centering on the daily lives of young girls enjoying their youth. The sequel will feature an unknown original ending exclusive to the movie version.

Among the characters, Kadode Koyama (CV: Ikuta Lila), still harboring feelings for her former high school teacher Watarase after graduation and fashionably wearing a T-shirt of the national manga "Isobeyan," and her childhood friend, Ontan, real name Nakagawa Ouran (CV: Ano), who becomes a central figure in the sequel.

The two, having entered the same university, coincidentally meet a boy who looks just like a missing idol but is actually an invader from the mother ship, Keita Oba (CV: Irino Miyu), and start living together, hiding his true identity.

Ontan's brother, Hiroshi Nakagawa (CV: Suwabe Junichi), a self-proclaimed honorary home security guard and NEET, always supports Ontan's actions to change the world's fate with a mission in this chapter.

Meanwhile, newly university students Koyama and Ontan, during a campus freshman welcome event, meet Futaba Takemoto (CV: Azumi Waki), who shares Koyama's love for "Isobeyan," and a distinctive-haired senior, Oshiro (CV: Sawashiro Chiharu), who casually invites them to the occult club.

Makoto Taiinuma (CV: Shiraishi Ryoko), a middle school classmate of Futaba who joins the invader protection group "SHIP" and wants to be adored by everyone, deepens his connections with the club members and Oba, uncovering Ontan's hidden mysteries.

Kenichi Kohiruimaki (CV: Uchiyama Kouki), a high school classmate of Koyama's and ex-boyfriend of the late Kiharu Kurihara who died in a spaceship crash, leans towards invader exclusion ideology, becoming the leader of the radical "Blue Coalition" and leading his fearful comrades, among them a former engineer of the mother ship, Chairman (CV: Takenaka Naoto).

Watarase (CV: Taito Ban), Koyama and Ouran's high school teacher, becomes romantically involved with Koyama after her university enrollment. Simultaneously, his casual girlfriend, Hikari Sumaru (CV: Onishi Saori), a public relations officer at the Anti-Invader Weapon Development Center S.E.S, holds the key to the highly confidential Project "Ocean". Taro Miura (CV: Kawanishi Kengo), Sumaru's university classmate and a journalist, secretly investigates the suspected collusion between S.E.S and the government.

What intricate connections will these uniquely diverse characters form in the sequel, and what fate awaits them as the countdown to world destruction looms?
