The TV anime Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP! is officially set to begin broadcasting this October. Alongside the announcement, the key visual, the first promotional video (PV), main characters and cast, and staff details have also been unveiled.

At the center of the key visual is protagonist Yukito Kirihara, gazing ahead with a determined expression while holding the World Master's Guide. Reincarnated into another world, Yukito embarks on a brutal journey to find his lost sister. Surrounding him are his party members who travel with him through the treacherous fantasy realm.

Despite facing the harshest of disadvantages—having only 1 HP at all times—Yukito seals away his inherent kindness and chooses to survive as a so-called “Munchkin”, a term for a cunning player who exploits rules to their fullest.

The PV begins with a live-action scene set in a dimly lit room where players are enjoying the tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons. As a 20-sided die starts to roll, the scene shifts into animated footage, transitioning to a world overrun by goblins. Using underhanded tactics to defeat the creatures, Yukito declares:
"No matter what it takes, I’ll survive! This is the only way!"—demonstrating his resolve to live on as a Munchkin in a merciless otherworld.

Joining Yukito on his journey are Charlotte, Lumilia, and Liverna, who each appear in the PV.

I’m Kazuki Ura, voicing Yukito Kirihara. Yukito is highly intelligent and constantly devises clever strategies to face enemies while stuck at just 1 HP. His reckless tactics are both cool and amusing. I hope viewers enjoy seeing how the others react to Yukito’s unpredictable actions! Kana Yuuki (voice of Charlotte R. Braunia):

Lumilia, whom I voice, is usually calm and reserved, but she deeply cares for her sister and has a strong resolve to achieve her goals. I aim to portray both her cuteness and strength throughout the series!

Kaori Maeda (voice of Liverna Dark):
I’m Kaori Maeda, playing Liverna Dark. Yukito’s strategy of developing guaranteed-win tactics because he’s constantly at 1 HP struck me as incredibly clever! Liverna is an emotionally expressive character. As a dark priestess, she maintains a dignified aura but also has a feisty charm that makes her lovable. I hope viewers enjoy how the team evolves through Yukito’s strategies!
