The synopsis and scene cuts for the second episode of the new TV anime series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc," titled "Water Pillar Giyu Tomioka's Pain," have been released.

In Episode 2, Kagaya's Kasugai Crow suddenly appears before Tamayo, inviting her, a demon, to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. Meanwhile, Tanjiro, who is recuperating at the Butterfly Mansion, receives a letter from Kagaya...

The "Hashira Training Arc" is based on episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, where Tanjiro and his comrades undergo further training from the Demon Slayer Corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, to become stronger.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, is based on the manga of the same name, and has surpassed over 150 million copies sold. Set in the Taisho era, the story revolves around a young boy, Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family killed by demons and to restore his demon-transformed sister, Nezuko, back to human. The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a cultural phenomenon. This led to the blockbuster movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2020, which grossed over 40 billion yen in Japan. The sequel to the movie, "Entertainment District Arc," was broadcast as the anime's second season starting in December 2021, followed by the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," which aired from April 2023.
