On May 14, it was officially announced via the game’s website that development of the mobile game KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link has been canceled.

The statement read:
“We regret to inform you that development of KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link has been discontinued. We sincerely apologize to all who were looking forward to its release.”

Development Halted After Extensive Testing
According to the announcement, the team had been working hard to create an enjoyable experience for a wide audience. However, after careful consideration, they concluded that delivering a satisfactory long-term service would be difficult, leading to the decision to terminate development.
The message continued:
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in the multiple rounds of closed beta testing. We are truly sorry to deliver such disappointing news.”
