The Love Live! franchise has unveiled a brand-new project titled “Ikizulive! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD (JP: 『イキヅライブ！ LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD)”, also known as “Ikizulive!”. Announced with the release of its key visuals, promotional video (PV), and ten character self-introduction videos, this new initiative brings fresh energy to the beloved school idol series.

Story: School Idols Born from an Internet-Based High School

“Ikizulive!” follows ten unique high school students enrolled in Love Gakuin High School, commonly referred to as L High—a virtual high school with satellite campuses across Japan. These ten girls, each attending a different branch, decide to launch a school idol project to liven up their unconventional school life. Despite having no traditional school setting—no uniforms, no classrooms, no sports grounds, and no cafeteria—they form bonds through their shared dreams and begin shaping their own world.

Driven by creativity and determination, the girls embrace the concept that even with nothing, they can create something special. It’s a new kind of “story of dreams fulfilled by everyone,” centered on possibility and self-expression.

Media Rollout and Group Activities

The project will develop primarily through X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, featuring posts from members and short drama videos. In addition to the digital content, the ten main cast members will also perform live and appear at events as part of the idol group Ikizurai-bu! (literally “The Hard-to-Live Club”).

Their first single, titled “What is my LIFE?”, will be released on July 30. Ahead of the CD launch, the track will be available via digital streaming starting May 19. A lyric video will premiere on the official Ikizulive! YouTube channel at 8:00 PM tonight.
