The first-ever anime-themed drone show, ODAIBA DRONE SHOW 2024, will light up the skies over Odaiba on December 28th and 29th. Hosted by IMAGICA EEX, this free event will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Odaiba Kaihin Park (Marine House area).

Event Highlights

500 Drones Create Stunning Anime Art
Against the backdrop of a brilliantly illuminated Third Battery Fort (Daiba Park), 500 drones will depict scenes from the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) and Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The drone show, synchronized to music, will unfold in the night sky with the Rainbow Bridge as its stunning backdrop.

Integration of Anime and Technology
This showcase is part of a demonstration project by the Digital Innovation City Council (DIC Council). By combining Japan’s iconic anime content with cutting-edge digital technologies like drone shows and lighting, the event aims to enhance the appeal of the Tokyo Bay area.

A New Frontier for Urban Nightlife

IMAGICA EEX leverages its expertise in large-scale space productions such as projection mapping, immersive experiences, and live performances. Together with human flow data, digital twins, and next-gen communication technologies, the company seeks to create innovative experiences while addressing urban challenges like nighttime economy enhancement and tourism management.
