A newly introduced character from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Shiiko Sugai, made her first appearance in Episode 4, “The Witch’s War,” and has now received an official character design reveal.

Her appearance had already sparked speculation after being briefly featured in the preview following Episode 3. The official character sheet describes her as a former Earth Federation Forces pilot and a “Super Unicum” who shot down over 100 mobile suits during the One Year War. She is shown wearing a pilot suit, adding to her imposing, battle-hardened presence.

High School Girls, Mobile Suits, and a New Era of Conflict

Gundam GQuuuuuuX follows Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony. Her life changes when she meets Nyaan, a young girl who is a war refugee. Amate is soon drawn into “Clan Battle,” an illegal mobile suit dueling competition.

Using the codename “Machyu,” Amate pilots the titular mobile suit GQuuuuuuX, entering a series of brutal battles. As she navigates this dangerous underground world, she crosses paths with Shuji, a mysterious boy piloting an unidentified Gundam pursued by both the military and the police. Their fateful meeting signals the beginning of a new era.
