Titled “The View from the Summit”, Episode 3 follows the conclusion of an intense race between Oguri Cap and Fujimasa March. Having lived solely for running, Oguri experiences emotions she never knew before as a result of her very first race.

As she prepares for her next race, her new rival Norn Ace enters the scene. Norn, who has always disliked Oguri, devises a plan with her allies to disrupt her. However, Oguri overcomes their schemes and secures her first victory in her second race.

The Kasamatsu Ondo Winning Live captivated viewers with its dynamic choreography. Online reactions poured in with comments such as:
“That Winning Live (Kasamatsu Ondo) was as intense as the race scene!”
“The animation quality is unnecessarily amazing (lol).”
“I love the local-scale Winning Live—feels realistic!”
“Is this the smoothest Winning Live in the history of Uma Musume?”
“Also, Kasamatsu’s Winning Live outfit is so cute!”

Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray is based on the ongoing manga of the same name serialized in Weekly Young Jump. With over 6 million copies in circulation, the manga is a major hit. The story centers on the strongest Uma Musume, Oguri Cap, following her "Cinderella story" as she races from a small-town track to national fame.
