Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!”, the world’s largest anime song live event, has announced the second wave of performers. The three-day event will take place at Saitama Super Arena from August 29 to 31.

KOTOKO Returns After Nine Years

On the first day, August 29, KOTOKO will take the stage for the first time in nine years and third overall since her last appearance in 2016. Known for her contributions to hit anime like Shakugan no Shana, she has also gained a cult following for her "denpa songs," including the viral “Sakuranbo Kiss Bakuhatsu da mo～n.” More recently, her collaborations with Aiobahn—“INTERNET OVERDOSE” and “INTERNET YAMERO”—have racked up approximately 25 million and 50 million views respectively on YouTube, cementing her popularity among a new generation of fans.

Guilty Kiss and Saint Snow Make Anisama Debut

August 30 will spotlight two groups from Love Live! Sunshine!! making their first Anisama appearances. Guilty Kiss, a subunit of Aqours composed of Riko Sakurauchi (CV: Rikako Aida), Yoshiko Tsushima (CV: Aika Kobayashi), and Mari Ohara (CV: Aina Suzuki), brings a gothic aesthetic and powerful performances. Joining them is rival unit Saint Snow from Hakodate, featuring sisters Seira Kazuno (CV: Asami Tano) and Ria Kazuno (CV: Hinata Sato), known for their perfectly synchronized stage presence.

SPYAIR to Perform on Final Day

Rock band SPYAIR will appear on the final day, August 31. Famous for theme songs in anime such as BLEACH, Mobile Suit Gundam, Gintama, and Haikyu!!, SPYAIR recently released “Orange,” the theme for Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle in 2024, which surpassed 150 million streams. With this momentum, they are set to make a highly anticipated debut at Anisama.
