A live-action video adaptation of the manga Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) has been officially released. The role of the heroine Chizuru Mizuhara is portrayed by popular cosplayer and TikToker Akase Akari, who delivers a faithful recreation of the character.

Filmed Entirely at Tokyo Joypolis, Capturing a “Real First Date”

Akase Akari paid meticulous attention to detail—particularly the wig—to embody Chizuru with precision. The entire shoot was filmed on location at Tokyo Joypolis, a setting currently featured in the manga. The video presents a unique boyfriend’s point of view of Chizuru and protagonist Kazuya’s “real first date”—not a rental one.
