Episode 26 Story

The string of incidents caused by the Gifted Communion comes to a close with the death of Naoshi Usui. Arata Tsuruki reveals the true intent behind his past actions and apologizes for the pain he caused Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo through his selfish behavior.

Miyo, still concerned about her own Dream-Sight ability, gradually begins to relax and enjoy the peaceful days she has finally regained. Meanwhile, Kiyoka submits his request to retire from the military. At that moment, Takaihito’s messenger, Takakura, arrives with a message on the prince’s behalf…

A Unique Romance in a Historical Fantasy Setting

Set in a fictional world reminiscent of Japan's Meiji and Taisho eras, My Happy Marriage follows the politically arranged marriage between Kiyoka Kudo, a reserved elite military officer, and Miyo Saimori, a girl who endured years of abuse from her family. Season 2 delves into the mystery surrounding Miyo's "Usuba Blood," testing the couple’s love and resilience as they face new challenges.

The anime is based on the popular novel series of the same name by Akumi Agitogi, with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka, published under Kadokawa’s Fujimi L Bunko imprint. With over 8 million copies sold across the series, My Happy Marriage has also been adapted into a manga by Rito Kosaka, which won multiple awards, including the top spot in the Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics 2021.

The franchise has expanded into live-action and stage adaptations, with a 2023 film starring Ren Meguro (Snow Man) and Mio Imada, and an original stage production in August 2023.
