The synopsis and scene previews for My Happy Marriage Episode 25 (Season2 EP12), airing on March 31, on TOKYO MX and other networks have been released.

Episode 25 Story

Naoshi Usui, who seeks to create an ideal world ruled by the Usuba family, attempts to seize Miyo Saimori, the beloved daughter of his late love and the one who possesses the power of Dream-Sight. To do so, he overwhelms Kiyoka Kudo with terrifying illusions that manipulate even his five senses. As Miyo rushes to Kiyoka’s side, she is stopped at gunpoint—by Arata Usuba.

A Unique Romance in a Historical Fantasy Setting

Set in a fictional world reminiscent of Japan's Meiji and Taisho eras, My Happy Marriage follows the politically arranged marriage between Kiyoka Kudo, a reserved elite military officer, and Miyo Saimori, a girl who endured years of abuse from her family. Season 2 delves into the mystery surrounding Miyo's "Usuba Blood," testing the couple’s love and resilience as they face new challenges.

About the Original Work

The anime is based on the popular novel series of the same name by Akumi Agitogi, with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka, published under Kadokawa’s Fujimi L Bunko imprint. With over 8 million copies sold across the series, My Happy Marriage has also been adapted into a manga by Rito Kosaka, which won multiple awards, including the top spot in the Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics 2021.

The franchise has expanded into live-action and stage adaptations, with a 2023 film starring Ren Meguro (Snow Man) and Mio Imada, and an original stage production in August 2023.
