Super Sentai 50th Anniversary Exhibition Launches with Tribute from Original Red Ranger
The long-running Super Sentai series, now in its 50th year with the newest installment No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, is commemorating its milestone anniversary with a large-scale exhibition titled Zen Super Sentai Ten (All Super Sentai Exhibition). The event was announced to take place on April 5, 2025—the exact date that the very first episode of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger aired in 1975.

As the title suggests, the exhibition will cover the full 50-year history of every Super Sentai team from Gorenger to Gozyuger. Divided across three eras—Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa—the exhibition will provide a comprehensive look back at the franchise's evolution. Approximately 500 rare items will be on display, including props, costumes, robots, and miniatures actually used in filming—many of which have never been shown to the public before.
Along with the announcement, a teaser visual and a special video trailer have been released. The teaser visual features the five members of Gorenger standing in a reflective pose, symbolizing the legacy they helped create. Behind them, a striking image showcases the silhouettes of all the Super Sentai heroes over the past five decades—roughly 300 in total—forming a towering tribute to the franchise.
The special video mirrors this powerful sentiment. As the five Gorenger heroes walk forward in unison, symbolizing their journey through time, the heartfelt voice of children cheering “Gorenger!” echoes—just as it did in the past. In response, the original Red Ranger, AkaRanger (Tsuyoshi Kaijo), voiced by actor Naoya Makoto in a newly recorded line, expresses gratitude to fans. Makoto, who originally played AkaRanger, personally recorded this new message to convey what he describes as “50 years’ worth of gratitude.”
The Zen Super Sentai Ten will debut this August at Tokyo Dome City’s Prism Hall before embarking on a nationwide tour. More details about the exhibition, including regional tour stops and ticketing, will be revealed in the near future.
