The story and preview images of Episode 1 of WITCH WATCH have been revealed. The series will premiere in Japan on Sunday, April 6 at 5:30 PM JST, and will be available on streaming platforms in various countries afterward.

Episode 1 Story

Morihito Otogi is a high school boy who possesses ogre-like powers. One day, his childhood friend Nico Wakatsuki returns from her witch training! According to an ancient pact, Nico is to live under the same roof as Morihito. While Morihito is reluctant, Nico is thrilled to be reunited and is full of excitement.

As Nico—clumsy yet cheerful—starts to stir up wild and unpredictable trouble, will Morihito be able to protect her from the foretold disaster? Thus begins a whimsical magical comedy of a witch and her childhood friend!

WITCH WATCH is a magical comedy manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, with over 3 million copies in circulation. Created by Kenta Shinohara, known for SKET DANCE and Astra Lost in Space, the story centers around Nico Wakatsuki, a young witch-in-training who comes to live with her childhood friend Morihito Otogi, a high school student with ogre powers.
