YOASOBI x PlayStation: 123-Second Anniversary CM Unveils Exclusive Scenes

On April 1, the 123-second version of PlayStation’s 30th anniversary special commercial—featuring a new song by YOASOBI titled “PLAYERS”—was officially released. This longer version follows the popular 30-second CM that previously garnered over 190,000 likes on X (as of March 31).

The collaboration is part of the “Project: MEMORY CARD” campaign, which invited fans to share episodes of games they wish they could play again for the first time. Based on these submissions under the hashtag #MemoryOfPlay, YOASOBI composed “PLAYERS,” which was released on March 21 as a tribute to the emotional memories tied to the PlayStation experience.

The special anniversary CM features characters inspired by and voiced by actress Nanase Nishino, VTuber Usada Pekora, and popular gaming streamer Kiyo. These original characters race through a variety of game worlds, battling monsters, dancing, chatting, and more—bringing a high-energy, rollercoaster-like journey to life. The 123-second version reveals many new scenes that weren’t included in the 30-second cut, offering even more excitement for fans.

Additionally, from April 2 to April 15, Tokyo’s Shibuya Center-gai area will be taken over by the campaign. Streetlight flags featuring the campaign visuals will line the streets, and background music broadcasts will include a special voice message from YOASOBI.

Meanwhile, a new video series titled “PlayStation Influencer’s Favorites” has launched on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. The first episode features YOASOBI introducing their favorite music and visual works, giving fans a deeper look into the artists’ personal inspirations.
