[Anime Song Chart] YOASOBI's "Idol" Reaches 800 Million Streams, Fastest in Oricon History
YOASOBI's "Idol" has achieved a milestone by surpassing 800 million cumulative streams, becoming the third song in Oricon history to do so. According to the latest "Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking" (dated August 12), the song recorded 4,657,078 streams this week, bringing its total to 800,334,853 streams.
Since its debut on the ranking dated April 24, 2023, it has taken only 69 weeks to reach this milestone, surpassing the previous record held by Yuuri's "Dry Flower" and making it the fastest in Oricon history to reach 800 million streams.
"Idol" has also set the record for the fastest to reach 1 billion, 2 billion, 3 billion, 4 billion, 5 billion, 6 billion, and 7 billion streams【※2】.
This achievement marks YOASOBI's second song to surpass 800 million cumulative streams【※3】, making them the first artist in Oricon history to have more than one song reach this milestone.
