The intermission video for "Theatrical Version Project SEKAI: Broken World and the Silent Miku" (Theatrical Version Proseka, to be released on January 17, 2025) has been unveiled.
The newly released intermission video reflects on the journey of "Hatsune Miku" and "Vocaloid Culture," nurtured by numerous creators, leading up to the announcement that "Proseka" will finally be made into a film, narrated throughout the video. The footage teases the appearance of a "Hatsune Miku" that no one has ever seen before, building anticipation for more updates on the main story.
Synopsis:
"Tell me about yourself. Maybe then I'll understand the song."
Ichika Hoshino hears a Miku song she has never heard before in a CD shop. On the monitor, she sees an unfamiliar version of "Hatsune Miku" and instinctively calls out "Miku." Surprised by the voice, Miku briefly makes eye contact with Ichika before disappearing. Later, after a street performance, Ichika sees the same Miku on her smartphone. Seeing Miku looking lonely, Ichika listens to her story. Miku wants to deliver her songs to people, but no matter how much she sings, her songs don't reach them. Inspired by Ichika's ability to touch many hearts with her performances, Miku believes she might be able to do the same if she learns about Ichika. Smiling gently, Ichika responds, "If it's okay with me," and thus begins a new story of Hatsune Miku and the boys and girls.
