A Pivotal Entry in Gundam History
Originally aired from 1994 to 1995, Mobile Fighter G Gundam broke ground by shifting away from the traditional Universal Century timeline. Instead of massive interstellar wars, it introduced the Gundam Fight—a martial arts tournament where national champions battle with Gundams for global dominance. The victorious nation earns political leadership for four years.
The 13th Gundam Fight forms the backdrop of the original series, centering on Domon Kasshu and his dramatic journey. Now, 30 years later, this legacy continues in a Gaiden (side story) that expands upon their tale—and introduces a new generation.
