On March 28, Suzuki held a press conference at the 52nd Tokyo Motorcycle Show, one of Japan’s largest motorcycle events, currently taking place at Tokyo Big Sight (through March 30).

A major highlight was the unveiling of a collaboration model between Suzuki and Capcom’s hit fighting game Street Fighter 6—the GSX-8R Tuned by JURI, showcased at the company’s booth.

Designed with Juri’s Iconic Style in Mind

Tsuyoshi Tanaka, General Manager of Suzuki’s Motorcycle Business Division, introduced the bike by stating:
“We’re exhibiting the ‘GSX-8R Tuned by JURI,’ a collaboration with the popular game Street Fighter 6. It was designed with Juri in mind—a character known for her passion for motorcycles.”

The model was previously displayed at the CAPCOM CUP 11 and the Street Fighter League: World Championship 2024, where it drew significant attention.

Tanaka noted that the collaboration helped engage a younger demographic, many of whom hadn’t previously taken an interest in motorcycles.

“Through this collaboration, we were able to spark interest among younger audiences who hadn’t interacted much with motorcycles before.”

A Bold Design That Channels Juri Han

The GSX-8R Tuned by JURI features:

Spider-web motifs, referencing Juri’s trademark design, to emphasize aggressiveness

A Feng Shui Engine graphic over the left side of the engine, mirroring her in-game power source

A handwritten-style GSX-8R logo to evoke a street-custom aesthetic

Though the model is not for sale, it has become a standout example of how game collaborations can drive excitement in the motorcycle industry.
