Episode 7 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. Episode 7 will air on Sunday, March 23, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Cure Wink is shocked by the battle against Maclander and leaves, believing she's not cut out for it. Kokoro returns home and quietly packs away her beloved Cure Idol merchandise.

The next day after school, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka), Nana Aokaze (voiced by Minami Takahashi), and Purirun visit Kokoro’s house, worried about her. However, Kokoro hasn't returned yet—she's throwing herself into dance practice, trying to forget about the Pretty Cure...

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
