It has been announced that voice actress and singer Megumi Ogata will perform the ending theme for the upcoming TV anime Gorilla no Kami Kara Kago Sareta Reijō wa Ōritsu Kishidan de Kawaiigareru (Gorilla no Kago Reijo). This marks the first time Ogata has collaborated as a singer for an anime in which she does not have a voice-acting role. The anime is set to premiere on April 6, airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, d Anime Store, and more.

The anime follows Sophia Reeler, a girl blessed with the divine protection of the Gorilla God, said to be the strongest combat-type blessing. As she enters the Royal Knights, her extraordinary abilities spark new adventures.

Ending & Opening Themes

The ending theme, "Serendipity," is a motivational song for girls, performed by Ogata. She commented:

"This is my first time getting a tie-up with the Lantis label as just a pure singer for a series I’m not acting in! I was really surprised... and gave it my all! (laughs)"

The anime's main PV showcases Sophia facing various challenges alongside her upperclassman Louis and her peers, with the mysterious elite knights of the Royal Knights also making an appearance. The PV also debuts the opening theme "Illuminate" by Shugo Nakamura.

I wrote, composed, and performed Illuminate. Since the story has a cute and uplifting tone, I went for a symphonic style. I love the line ‘There’s so much that makes you special,’ because it captures the heart of the story.

I also voice Arshent, and getting to sing the OP as well is such an honor! Gorilla no Kago Reijo is a must-watch!
