A special trailer featuring the return of the original voice cast has also been released. Additionally, voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi (Speedy Cerviche, Yattaro), Ai Orikasa (Polly Esther, Pururun), and Seiichiro Yamashita, who takes over the role of Guido Anchovy (Sukashi) from Jurota Kosugi, have shared their thoughts on the project.

Premiering in Japan on February 1, 1990, Kyatto Ninden Teyandee is a sci-fi period comedy anime set in "Edo-lopolis," a world inhabited by animal-like robots. The story follows the secret ninja squad, the Nyankee (a play on the Japanese word for a cat's meow and the term "Yankee")s, as they battle the villainous Karakara Clan that threatens the city's peace.
The anime gained international popularity in the early 1990s under the title Samurai Pizza Cats and continues to have a devoted fanbase worldwide.

The upcoming game, titled Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past!, is being developed by the Dutch game studio BLAST ZERO and will be published globally by UAE-based Red Dunes Games.
The game is a 2D action RPG set in Edo-lopolis, where players can seamlessly switch between members of the Nyankees, utilizing their unique abilities to solve puzzles and engage in battles.
The newly released trailer features stunning high-quality cel-style animation faithful to the original anime, along with a preview of the in-development gameplay. Satoru Akahori, who served as the original anime's series composer, is overseeing the script translation.
