The third installment of the popular manga series The Fable, titled The Fable: The Third Secret, will begin serialization in the 16th issue of Weekly Young Magazine on March 17. This marks the series' long-awaited return, 1 year and 8 months after the conclusion of its second arc in July 2023.

A Killer’s Ordinary Life: A Series Overview

The Fable tells the story of a genius assassin, known as "Fable," who was trained from childhood to eliminate any target in under six seconds. However, the series uniquely focuses on his attempt to lead an ordinary, peaceful life without killing.

First serialized in Young Magazine in 2014, the manga concluded its first arc in November 2019. The second arc ran from July 2021 to July 2023. With over 25 million copies of the series in circulation, The Fable has earned widespread acclaim. It was also adapted into two live-action films starring Junichi Okada in 2019 and 2021, as well as a TV anime that aired from April to September 2024.
