MF Ghost to Conclude in 6 Chapters – 8 Years of Serialization Comes to an End
The manga MF Ghost, the successor to the legendary Initial D, is set to conclude with its final chapter in Young Magazine Issue 12, releasing on February 17. Announced on January 9, the series will end in just six more chapters, bringing an 8-year serialization journey, which began in 2017, to a close.
A Racing Saga Set in a Near-Future World
Created by Shuichi Shigeno, MF Ghost is set in a near-future world, expanding upon the universe of Initial D, which was serialized in Young Magazine from 1995 to 2013. The manga features intense car racing battles on real public roads and has achieved a cumulative total of 4.5 million copies in circulation.
Anime Adaptation and Success
The first season of the MF Ghost anime aired from October to December 2023, with the second season scheduled for October to December 2024. A third season is already in production, continuing the story’s popularity among fans.
