Fifty years after its debut, The Rose of Versailles continues to captivate audiences with its iconic storytelling and, now, its magnificent musical performances. The latest film features 15 insert songs, composed by renowned music producer Hiroyuki Sawano, including the titular track “The Rose of Versailles.”

Originally serialized in Weekly Margaret (1972–1973) by Riyoko Ikeda, the manga has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
