USJ Revives Its "Soaking Wet" Parade After 4 Years, Featuring Water Blasts from Pokémon and Mario Floats

Universal Studios Japan (USJ, located in Konohana-ku, Osaka) announced on April 23 that it will hold the summer event "NO LIMIT! Summer 2024" from July 3 to September 1. The event will mark the return of the water parade "NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade," which has been renewed for the first time in four years, featuring characters like "water-type Pokémon" and Mario, ensuring participants get thoroughly soaked.

The "NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade" is a park-first initiative featuring floats that shoot water, including the parade debut of "Gyarados" among a gathering of water-type Pokémon and characters like Mario, as well as other park favorites. These characters will engage in water fights during the parade procession.

One of the floats, carrying Princess Daisy in a kart, will make its parade debut, adding excitement to the water parade. In addition, a variety of water effects such as sprinklers and water cannons will be used along with performances using inflatables, umbrellas, and hula hoops by entertainers. Park favorites will be dressed in vibrant summer attire, engaging in water battles using water guns and buckets to deliver a refreshingly drenching experience for all participants.

Furthermore, in the "NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade" special 360-degree soaking wet area (paid), located in Gramercy Park (New York Area), guests can be surrounded by all characters appearing in the parade and get astonishingly soaked.
