The light novel "Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!" has been confirmed for a TV anime adaptation in 2025, accompanied by the release of a celebratory illustration.
The announcement brought joy to fans of the series, which began serialization in 2018 on the major web novel platform "Shosetsuka ni Narou". The story was later published as a light novel in 2019 and adapted into a manga in 2020, gaining widespread attention.
A New Gourmet Fantasy
The series has surpassed 850,000 cumulative copies in circulation. It tells the heartwarming tale of Dennis, a chef expelled from the strongest guild, who opens the "Adventurers' Diner" with Atelier, a beautiful former slave girl. The diner becomes a place where quirky adventurers gather, and through food, Dennis builds bonds with them, filling both their hearts and stomachs.
To commemorate the anime adaptation, celebratory comments and illustrations were shared by the original author Yuki Kimikawa, character designer Gaou, and manga artist Tsumumi.
