The production of Season 2 for the TV anime 2.5 Dimensional Seduction (Lilysa) has been officially announced.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction follows Masamune Okumura, an ordinary high school boy who loves the 2D character Liliel. His life changes when he meets Lilysa Amano, a freshman who not only loves Liliel but also aspires to “become” her. The story depicts the passion of cosplayers, the emotions they carry, and the struggles they overcome as they grow. This heated, youthful cosplay drama bridges the gap between reality (3D) and fiction (2D).

In the final episode of the first season, “Episode 24: 2.5D Lilysa,” which aired today on TOKYO MX, the story showed Okumura and Lilysa grappling with their feelings, including Mikari’s romantic feelings that were revealed during their training camp. The episode portrayed their journey of facing not only the “2D” world but also the “3D” world, hinting at their future growth and the evolving dynamics within the manga research club. The season concluded on a promising note.

After the broadcast, it was revealed that Season 2 of the anime is officially in production, along with the release of a key visual to commemorate the announcement.
