On the 15th, the second cour PV, theme songs, and new character details for the TV anime 2.5 Dimensional Seduction were released.
2.5 Dimensional Seduction follows Masamune Okumura, an ordinary high school boy who isn’t interested in real-life women but is in love with a 2D character, Liliel. He meets Lilysa Amano, a freshman who shares his passion for Liliel and aspires to become Liliel through cosplay. The story depicts their experiences as they face trials and grow while learning about the passion behind cosplay.
The second cour PV showcases the highly popular "Summer Comiket Arc" from the original work, featuring the latest anime footage. The PV begins with Lilysa’s powerful declaration, "I will participate in Summer Comiket," and shows the characters Nonoa, Aria, and Mikari preparing alongside Ririsa for the event.
From the middle of the PV, we get a first listen to the second cour’s opening theme song, Tsigihagi no Tsubasa (Patchwork Wings), as scenes highlighting the feelings of love that Nonoa, Okumura, Lilysa, and Aria carry unfold. The footage teases the intriguing developments centered around these characters in the upcoming cour.
The second cour opening theme, Tsigihagi no Tsubasa, is sung by Soraru. The ending theme, Release Sigh, is a character song performed by Ririsa Amane (voiced by Kaori Maeda), Mikaari Tachibana (voiced by Akari Kito), Noa (voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro), and Aria Kisaki (voiced by Sayumi Watabe).
Additionally, new character and cast information for the second cour was revealed. Yoichi Higarashi, the author of the spin-off manga Liliel Gaiden from Ash Chronicle, will be voiced by Junichi Suwabe.
Comments from the Artists
Soraru
Nice to meet you! I’m Soraru, and I’ll be handling the opening theme for the second cour! I’ve been a fan of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction since it started on Jump+, so I’m thrilled to be in charge of the opening! I both sang and wrote the lyrics this time, basing them on scenes from the original that left a strong impression on me. The song has a refreshing, uplifting feel, with a message about how taking a brave step forward, even when scared, can change the world. I hope you enjoy it!
Kaori Maeda (as Lilysa Amano)
I’m delighted to continue singing the ending theme for the second cour of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction! The new song has a very different vibe from the first cour’s theme, so I hope you’ll look forward to it. Please keep supporting Nigo Lily in the second cour as well!
Akari Kito (as Mikari Tachibana)
I’m so happy to be singing the ending theme again as Mikari, following the first cour! This time, the song is performed by the four of us, and it has a wonderful atmosphere that’s different from before. I hope you’ll listen to it a lot!
Sayumi Suzushiro (as Nonoa)
When I heard we’d be singing the ending theme together, I was thrilled! I loved the catchy and cute ending theme from the first cour, but I was instantly captivated by this new track, which has a completely different tone. Even with its calm melody, the song is strong and passionate, and I put all my heart into singing it. I hope you’ll enjoy it and that it reaches everyone’s hearts!
Sayumi Watabe
I initially thought, since the first cour’s song was lively and danceable, the second cour would be similar—but I was surprised by its cool and bittersweet tone. But when I thought about the story ahead, it made perfect sense! During recording, we discussed the characters' strength, and I kept that in mind while singing. I hope you enjoy following the story of Nigo Riri as it heats up, along with the music!

Junichi Suwabe Interview
Q1: What are your impressions of this series?
My first thought was, "Wait, are the characters in this series talking about me!?" (laughs). As I read on, I realized it’s a story about self-liberation and affirmation.
Q2: How do you feel about the character you're portraying?
I’m playing a character who is close to my age, and as someone who has experienced a lot in his past, I tried to empathize with his feelings while performing. I hope he adds a good accent to the story.
