Yasuda’s Comments

Reflecting on his involvement in the project, Yasuda shared:
“As a student, Disney and Pixar’s films, like Tangled and Toy Story, showed me the potential of 3D animation. Even as I grew as an animator and director, Disney films such as Ralph Breaks the Internet inspired me during challenging times. Being entrusted with a 3D short animation for Moana 2, a film loved worldwide, was a truly joyous experience. Thank you so much for the opportunity!”

On watching Moana 2, Yasuda added:
“The visuals, story, and music are all superbly crafted, creating a deeply moving work. It’s fascinating to see how Moana and Maui navigate their destinies as heroes, sparking imagination and inspiration. From seeing the once-frightening Kakamora appear adorably to laughing at Moana’s struggles with her team’s antics, this film offers enjoyment for all generations. I highly recommend it!”
