Original Anime BULLET/BULLET to Stream Exclusively on Disney+ in Summer 2025
At the Disney Content Showcase 2024 held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on November 21, Disney+ (Star) announced the upcoming release of an all-new original anime, BULLET/BULLET, set to stream exclusively worldwide in summer 2025. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, a special preview video, and details about the production team were revealed.
A Star-Studded Production Team
Directed by Park Sung-Hoo, known for his action-packed direction in hit series like The God of High School (2020), Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 1, 2020–21), Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021), and Ninja Kamui (2024), BULLET/BULLET promises top-tier animation and breathtaking action sequences.

Series Composition and Script: Hitoshi Kindaichi, known for his work on Uma Musume Cinderella Gray (2025).
Character Design and Chief Animation Direction: Takahiro Yoshimatsu, famed for HUNTER×HUNTER (2011–), Overlord (2015).
Concept and Mechanical Design: Hidetaka Tenjin, a multi-talented artist celebrated for his work in Gundam, Star Wars, and other iconic projects.

A Glimpse Into BULLET/BULLET
Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, BULLET/BULLET follows the story of a young boy named Gear, a polar bear, and a robot traveling in a dilapidated classic car through treacherous terrain. Their destination—a mysterious glowing tower—sparks intrigue as the teaser visual portrays their journey across a desolate world filled with danger and wonder.
The special teaser trailer revealed high-octane action with Gear and his crew navigating debris-filled streets, explosive truck crashes, and cartoon-inspired antics, delivering a mix of spectacle and heartfelt storytelling.
