About The Prince of Tennis Series

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2008, The Prince of Tennis (or Tenipuri) follows Ryoma Echizen, a prodigy who grows alongside his middle school teammates. The manga continues as The New Prince of Tennis in Jump Square, expanding the story with Ryoma’s development on the global stage. Episode 7: “Team Spain, Ryoga Echizen”

In a semifinal match, Team USA’s Ralph finds himself overwhelmed by Ryoga, who is now representing Team Spain. Ryoga wields a powerful technique: the ability to “consume” his opponent’s tennis skills, effectively weakening Ralph’s game. Ryoga’s domination secures Spain’s spot in the finals. Meanwhile, Japan’s doubles match against Germany, featuring the pairs Kirihara and Tanejima versus Bismarck and Siegfried, begins.
