"Seiken Densetsu 3: Trials of Mana" to Make Stage Debut in 2025—Full Cast Announced!

For the first time ever, the popular game Seiken Densetsu 3: Trials of Mana is set to be adapted for the stage! Marking the 30th anniversary of its 1995 release, this beloved RPG will come to life in a series of performances in March and April 2025. Fans can catch the show at Tokyo's Sunshine Theatre from March 7-16 and at Osaka's COOL JAPAN PARK TT Hall from April 4-6. The play boasts an impressive cast, including Kai Ogasawara from Chotokkyu, Karin Isobe, Moga Mogami, and Takayuki Haranishi from FUJIWARA.

What is Seiken Densetsu 3: Trials of Mana?

Trials of Mana, originally released in 1995, was a groundbreaking RPG developed by Square Enix. Its 2020 remake brought a new generation of fans to this epic story of young heroes fighting to overcome dark forces and their fates. To date, it has surpassed one million sales worldwide.

The stage adaptation promises to honor the spirit of the game, with a dynamic cast bringing its memorable characters to life:

Creative Team

Acclaimed director and writer Ichidai Matsuda will lead the production. Known for his work on the NieR: Automata fan event and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius stage adaptation, Matsuda is expected to bring an engaging new vision to Trials of Mana that pays homage to the beloved game.
