The stage adaptation of the wacky manga Bo-bobo—titled Super Wacky Stage☆Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo—officially opened on October 23 at Theatre 1010 in Tokyo.

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2007, Bo-bobo is a legendary absurdist gag battle manga by Yoshio Sawai. With 28 volumes and over 7 million copies sold, it also inspired an anime series in 2003 and video games, remaining a fan-favorite with its unique blend of humor and action. Now, 20 years since its anime debut, the hype continues with this energetic stage production. The show promises a mix of comedy, battles, and stage-exclusive elements like singing and dancing, all set in the unpredictable world of Bo-bobo.
