The Tokyo Anime Award Festival Executive Committee and the Association of Japanese Animation have announced that the international animation film festival, "Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2025 (TAAF2025)," will be held in Ikebukuro from March 7 to March 10, 2025.

Starting today, November 1 at 6:00 p.m., voting for "Everyone's Choice Top 100" has begun on the official TAAF2025 website. Fans will vote for their favorite anime works released, broadcast, or distributed during the 2024 period (October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024) to decide the "Top 100."

From the selected 100 works, industry professionals, including producers, creators, and others involved in media, merchandise, and anime stores, will vote to determine the "Work Awards" and "Individual Awards." Additionally, a "Anime Fan Award" will be chosen through fan voting.

Anime of the Year: "Everyone's Choice Top 100"

- Voting period: Friday, November 1, 2024, 6:00 p.m. to Monday, December 2, 11:59 p.m.
- Eligible works are all animation works released, broadcast, or distributed in Japan between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024.
- During the voting period, each person can vote once, selecting up to three works each from both TV series and theatrical films.
- The number of votes for "Everyone's Choice Top 100" will not carry over to the Anime Fan Award.
