The first volume of the comic adaptation of Naruse Aims for the Top (Naruse ha Tenka wo Tori ni iku=成瀬は天下を取りに行く), winner of the 2024 Japan Booksellers' Award and based on a novel with over 950,000 copies sold and 16 domestic literary awards, will be released by Shinchōsha Publishing on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Synopsis

Naruse is both gifted academically and athletically, but her headstrong, reckless nature often drags her childhood friend, Shimazaki, along for the ride. From appearing in daily live streams at a department store just before closing to participating in the M-1 Grand Prix, these two are constantly all-in on their oddball adventures, with unexpected results following each time.
