The theme song for the upcoming CG animated film PUI PUI Molcar: The Movie MOLMAX, set to release on November 29, has been announced, and it's something truly unique. Titled "Pui! Pui! MAX!" and composed by popular pianist Harami-chan, the song features an unexpected twist—vocals performed by actual guinea pigs!

The vocal group, "Tsumugi & Ito with the Molcars," consists of guinea pigs Tsumugi and Ito, who also voice characters in the movie, singing alongside the beloved Molcar cast. This marks the first time guinea pigs have taken on the lead vocals for a movie theme song, creating a fun and quirky soundtrack.

Harami-chan commented on the creative process: "I wanted the song to be fast-paced, but also to convey the unique cuteness of the Molcars. It was important to balance both aspects to make it something fans would enjoy."

Director Mankyuu added, "It's probably the first theme song ever sung by guinea pigs! It's new, fun, and full of joy." The film's creator and supervisor, Asaki Misato, also described the combination of Harami-chan's piano with the guinea pigs' energetic vocals as "surreal and captivating."
