The Japanese cast and official trailer for Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, which will be available on Netflix starting October 17, have been revealed. Applications for a special advance screening event with a talk show featuring the lead cast and director, to be held in a secret location in Tokyo on October 12, will be accepted until 11:59 PM on October 3. A total of 85 pairs (170 people) will be invited for free.

This new six-episode (30 minutes each) original animation focuses on the European front during the One Year War, the setting of the first Mobile Suit Gundam series, and is being created for worldwide distribution.

The series is produced in collaboration with SAFEHOUSE and utilizes Unreal Engine 5. The script is written by Gavin Hignight (Tekken: Bloodline, Transformers: Cyberverse, Star Wars Resistance), while Erasmus Brosdau (Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, Star Citizen, Crysis series) serves as the director.

Nanako Mori will play the protagonist Ilia Solari in the Japanese version. Mori commented, "I am truly honored to portray Ilia Solari in the Japanese version and feel a strong connection to being part of the Gundam franchise in this way. The story takes place during the One Year War, focusing on the European front. The combat scenes, especially featuring the Mobile Suits, are thrilling. I hope viewers enjoy them. I also hope the audience pays attention to Solari's internal struggles, her Red Wolf team, and the human drama of each character."

"Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue" Announced for UNREAL EDITOR FOR FORTNITE

Bandai Namco Entertainment America and Look North World have announced the release of Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue within Fortnite’s Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). This unique island, based on the Requiem for Vengeance world, will be available in fall 2024.

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Red vs Blue is a team deathmatch game set in the Fortnite world, where players can choose between the Zeon forces and the Earth Federation forces. Players will compete to activate Mobile Suits by accumulating points through kills and will battle using Mobile Suits to lead their team to victory while enjoying the world of Requiem for Vengeance.

This project represents a new challenge using the same assets from Requiem for Vengeance, which was created with Unreal Engine 5, to deliver an immersive gaming experience through UEFN. Over 300 million Fortnite players worldwide can enjoy this free-to-play game.
