On July 1, Universal Studios Japan (USJ, located in Konohana Ward, Osaka) held a press preview for its limited-time summer event "One Piece Premier Summer 2024" (starting on the 3rd). The collaboration with Hollywood Dream - The Ride was also revealed.

During the "One Piece Premier Summer" event, a new story coaster, "One Piece x Hollywood Dream - The Ride: Sea Kings Attack! Roar Gear 5," will be featured, where you can adventure together with Luffy in his Gear 5 form.

While stranded on the open sea, you are rescued by the Straw Hat Pirates. Just as you think you're safe, gigantic Sea Kings appear, throwing everyone into a panic. Then, you are invited by Gear 5 Luffy to embark on the "world's most ridiculous voyage." This story coaster offers an exciting adventure in the One Piece world with dynamic ride experiences right by your ears, making it a thrilling and laughter-filled journey.
